Beautiful Guilin 16 : Osprey Fishing Show in Yangshuo Guilin

Osprey, called cormorant, Fishing Show.

Osprey was a good assistant of fishermen as they could help fishermen catch fish in the past, but now, Osprey fishing becomes either a day or night show increasingly. We watched the day time performance about 5.00 pm in the noon. The two bamboo rafts will follow your boat, you will see the ospreys stand on the bamboo raft, and when the fisherman let out the order, the ospreys dive into the water to find and catch the fishes.

 Ossifrages look like ducks with polished and beautiful feather

 They have thick and long beaks with a hook which is used for catching fishes

 The fisherman pull out the fish from the Osprey's mouth

 The Osprey's was then given small fish as a reward

 Ospreys are united birds, when go fishing, they will dive into the water all the same time

 The show last about 30 minutes

 The bamboo boat house is for us to watch the Osprey Fishing Show
