Jacaranda di Sydney

Jacaranda bermaksud kayu keras tropika yang berbau wangi. Pokok hiasan yang boleh mencapai ketinggian 30m. Seluruh pokok akan mula berbunga pada penghujung musim bunga. Pada masa itu, semua pokok akan dilputi oleh bunga-bunga Jacaranda. Saya diperkenalkan oleh anak saya, Dr. Nassier semasa berada di Melbourne pada awal bulan Disember, 2015.

Pokok ini akan mula berbunga pada penghujung bulan Oktober setiap tahun. Sekarang pokok Jacaranda telah mula melanda bandar Sydney, penghujung bulan Oktober,2016. Seluruh bandar itu akan berwajah ungu kebiruan atau pun ungu Lavender.

Teman teringin ke Jacarandas Walk South Africa. Terdapat kira-kira 10 juta pokok keseluruhan di bandar raya Johannesburg, Afrika Selatan yang menghijaukan kawasan itu. Setahun sekali wajah bandar Johannesburg akan berubah dari hijau kepada ungu kebiruan. Terdapat 49 jenis spesies Jacarandas (jenis pokok tertua di benua Amerika Selatan) yang juga spesies yang sama terdapat di Uruguay, Brazil, Peru dan Argentina. Pokok-pokok ini dikatakan telah dibawa masuk ke Afrika Selatan sejak lebih dari 100 tahun dahulu. Lokasi yang cantik menawan yang dihiasi dengan bunga-bunga warna ungu ini terletak di sepanjang perjalanan di banyak lokasi menuju bandar raya Johannesburg.

Jacaranda ialah genus 49 spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga Bignoniaceae, berasal dari kawasan tropika dan subtropika Amerika Tengah, Amerika Selatan, Cuba, Hispaniola, Jamaica dan Bahamas. ^[1] Ia telah ditanam secara meluas di Asia, terutama di Nepal. Ia juga biasa terdapat di Afrika Selatan, Zimbabwe dan Australia. Ia telah diperkenalkan di kebanyakan kawasan tropika dan subtropika. Nama genus ini juga digunakan sebagai nama biasa.

Designed following the Taoist principles of Yin Yang and five opposite elements such as earth,fire, water, metal and wood. Also stress the importance of Qi, the central force of life and energy. Landscapes that feature waterfalls, mountains, lake and forests.

The garden offers an insight into Chinese heritage and culture.

Sekiranya anda berkunjung ke Sydney, jangan lupa singgah ke Bare island. Terletak di muara Botany Bay. Kubu Bare Island dibina pada tahun 1885 untuk melindungi Sydney dari serangan laut. Selain pemandangan yang cantik, terdapat muzium ketenteraan dan sangat sesuai untuk aktiviti menyelam dan snorkeling di sini.

Cara ke sana : naik bas L94/ 391 di hadapan station St James atau Elizabeth St, martin pi.

Tujuan menulis Itinerary ini atas permintaan kawan-kawan dan juga anak bujang, Nassier. Nassier telah menamatkan medical placement as a medical student hari ini di Melbourne. (13 Nov, 2015). Nassier akan mengembara ke Sydney buat kali ke 2 ( 21 Nov hingga 1 Dis, 2015). Sorry abah tak sempat hendak menulis travelog ke Sydney. Banyak lagi tanggungjawab harian.Utamakan yang penting dahulu.

Bare Island is an islet in south-eastern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The islet is located about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) south east of the Sydney central business district, within Botany Bay, close to the bay's northern headland. Containing fortification facilities, Bare Island is listed on the State Heritage Register and is significant as an almost completely intact example of late nineteenth century coastal defence technology.

Bare Island is connected by a footbridge to the suburb of La Perouse. The historic military fort and tunnels can only be visited by guided tour. The waters around the island are popular with scuba divers.

Bare Island is the most popular scuba diving site in New South Wales. On a sunny summer Sunday there can be as many as 200 divers here during the day. It is a common diver training location and also very popular for snorkeling.

The reefs that stretch around the island and out to the south and west are home to some of Australia's most colourful marine animals. Things to be seen including big belly sea horses, sea dragons, pygmy pipehorses, red Indian fish and all the usual fish seen around Sydney. People have also seen seals and grey nurse sharks at times and in late winter Port Jackson sharks are very common. (Wikipedia)
